Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed:
abc identity SOLUTIONS is committed to ensuring that our website, our communications and our products are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We serve organizations across Canada, and we apply a single accessibility standard to all of them.
Conformance Standard
We measure this website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard referenced by accessibility legislation across Canada, including the Accessible Canada Act, Ontario's AODA and The Accessibility for Manitobans Act.
Current status: partially conformant. Partially conformant means that most of this website meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA, but some content does not yet fully conform. We are working to close the remaining gaps.
We are also monitoring WCAG 2.2 and intend to align with it as our website is updated.
What We Have Done
- Descriptive alternative text on images that convey information
- A logical heading structure that supports screen reader navigation
- Text and background colour combinations that meet minimum contrast ratios
- Keyboard access to all interactive elements, including menus and forms
- Link text that describes its destination rather than "click here"
- Form fields with clearly associated labels and error messages
- Text that can be resized to 200% without loss of content or function
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations remain. We are aware of the following, and we welcome reports of anything we have missed:
- Older content. Some pages and documents published before may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We update these as they are revised.
- Third-party content. Embedded elements such as [maps, booking tools, social media feeds] are controlled by their providers and may not meet the same standard.
- PDF documents. Some older PDFs may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We will supply an accessible version of any document on request.
If you encounter a barrier anywhere on this site, contact us. We will provide the information you need in an accessible format while we work on a fix.
Information in Alternate Formats
Any information we produce is available in an alternate format on request, at no additional cost. This includes quotes, invoices, badge design proofs, product specifications, order forms and anything published on this website.
- Large print
- Plain language summaries
- Accessible electronic documents compatible with screen readers
- Audio
- Verbal walkthrough of a design proof by phone or video call
We will consult with you to identify the format that works best and provide it in a timely manner. You will not be charged more than any other customer.
Accessibility in the Badges We Produce
Accessibility is also a design consideration in the credentials we make. On request, we can build badge programs that include:
- Larger type sizes and high-contrast layouts for improved legibility
- Colour schemes that remain distinguishable for people with colour vision deficiency
- Slot orientation, lanyard and clip options suited to different physical needs
If your organization has accessibility requirements for its credentials — including obligations under provincial accessibility legislation — tell us at the design stage and we will build for them.
Feedback and Requests
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website, our communications and our products. If something did not work for you, we want to know.
- Email: sales@abcidentity.com

Feedback may be submitted anonymously. We aim to acknowledge all accessibility feedback within [two] business days and to respond substantively as quickly as we are able.
Accessibility feedback and alternate format requests are handled by our [position title]. We keep a record of the feedback we receive and the actions we take in response, and that record is available on request.
Staff Training
Team members who communicate with the public, maintain our web content or select the technology we use receive training on accessible communication. That training covers recognizing and removing communication barriers, providing information in accessible formats, and our responsibilities under applicable human rights and accessibility legislation.
Ongoing Review
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review this statement and our accessibility practices at least annually, and whenever our website, our products or the applicable standards change.
